Tracey Achterdenbosch

Medicine Nurse

Tracey started at the Veterinary Referral Hospital in April 2021. She has a Certificate, Advanced Certificate, and a Diploma in Veterinary Nursing, and she has been nursing for 26 years.

She started in General Practice and have spent the last 13 years working in Emergency and Critical Care, at the Southern Animal Referral Centre/AEC Moorabbin. She has always had a strong interest in small animal medicine, and she now has her dream job, having joined the VRH Medicine Team.

She is passionate about providing the highest level of care to her patients, and particularly enjoys caring for high dependency and critical care patients.

Outside of work, she has two dogs, Ollie (Pointer-x), and Daisy (Staffy x Whippet), three horses, Bellissimo (Warmblood), Louie (Thoroughbred), and Zeus (Shetland x Miniature Pony), and four chickens (Trumpy, Pebbles, Summer and Dottie). She is an avid dressage enthusiast, and loves spending time on her farm, and being with family.
