Dr Simon Choi
Neurology
Simon graduated from the University of Sydney in 2012 with a Bachelor of Veterinary Science and worked as a general practitioner for several years in the northern suburbs of Melbourne.
He travelled back to Sydney to complete a Surgery internship at the Animal Referral Hospital in Homebush, followed by a residency in Veterinary Neurology & Neurosurgery at U-Vet Werribee Animal Hospital through the University of Melbourne, which he completed in 2019.
He joined the team at Veterinary Referral Hospital in 2020 where he works as a Neurology Registrar.
His current research project investigates the use of dynamic contrast-enhanced MRI for differentiation of brain tumours.
In the remainder of his time, he likes to exercise and go to the dog park with his Miniature Schnauzer, Gigi.
