Leah began her career in the veterinary industry in 2011, initially working as a kennel hand and receptionist in a small animal general practice clinic, before progressing to a veterinary nurse. Leah worked as a veterinary nurse alongside completing a Bachelor of Health Sciences, majoring in Anatomy and Physiology, before graduating with a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Melbourne. has completed a rotating internship at Veterinary Referral Hospital in 2021. She is currently an Emergency Veterinarian.

Leah strives to provide a high level of patient care and enjoys multiple small animal veterinary facets, including small animal surgery, medicine, diagnostic imaging, dermatology and emergency care. She has a strong interest in continuing education and developing as a veterinarian at the Veterinary Referral Hospital.

In her spare time, she enjoys surfing, spending time with family and friends and of course, spending time with her fur/scale rescues – Mea, the Cornish Rex, Parker, the Staffordshire cross puppy and Obi, the bearded dragon.
