Ebonee Mackenzie-Ross

Emergency Nurse

Ebonee grew up on a farm in rural Northern Victoria, where she always had animals around her and it’s how she grew to love them so much. Ebonee worked on a dairy farm growing up and was always interested when the vet would come out to visit on the farm, she developed a keen interest in wanting to help sick and injured animals. Ebonee first started out at the University of Melbourne studying Animal Science, but after volunteering in a few veterinary clinics she began vet nursing in 2014. After working in a few general practice clinics, she found her true passion in emergency and critical care and joined the VRH team as an emergency nurse and has loved it ever since. Ebonee has a gorgeous British Bulldog named Izzy, who she adores more than anything. She lives on the Mornington Peninsula and loves going for walks along the beach with her partner and Izzy.
