Dr Cristina Horton

Emergency & Critical Care

Cristina graduated from the University of Melbourne in 2018 and started at VRH as a rotating intern in 2019. During her rotating internship, her passion for emergency and critical care (ECC) was strengthened and she then went on to complete an ECC internship at VRH in 2020. Cristina has continued on to become one of VRH’s senior ECC clinicians; and has a keen interest in transfusion medicine, urinary tract emergencies and feline medicine.

Cristina has commenced study towards sitting her ANZCVS membership exams in emergency and critical care which she hopes to sit in 2022. Cristina is a self-proclaimed ‘crazy cat lady’ and outside of work, Cristina enjoys travel and pet sitting for friends and family.
