Neurology Intern

Alex finished the Veterinarian Medicine Degree in the University of Leon (Spain) in 2013. After one Rotation Internship in Cardenal Herrera University of Valencia, He went to Ireland where he did a Rotation Internship UCD Veterinary Hospital (Dublin) and nearly 3 years in private practice and critical care and emergency.

He came to Australia in 2017 where he began working with wildlife and at JCU Veterinary Hospital as an Emergency and Critical Care Nurse.

Following his interest in Neurology, he joined the Neurology team in 2020 and he loves it. Alex has passed the Australian Board exam, and he has taken up the Neurology Internship position.

He has a Chihuahua that he adopted with neurological issues and two cockatiels that take all his time when he is not in the hospital.
